A note from Peter O'Connell -  The Founder

After completing a  degree in commerce in university in Ireland, I worked within structured products at Deutsche Bank and as a Fund Accountant with Citco in Dublin. Prior to moving into the recruitment space in 2005, I worked with a London based Event-Driven Hedge Fund within their trade support area.

My primary motive for moving into recruitment was to bridge the gap in the industry of head hunters who really understood both the candidate and the client's needs. Fully understanding our client's requirements is the foundation of our business, hence we have become a trusted advisor of many hedge funds in the indusry. To date, the journey has been incredibly enjoyable and one which has allowed me to work with some great people as their careers have evolved.

Having established three successful contingency recruitment businesses, I have now pivoted to offering more bespoke solutions to the hedge fund sector. I believe these services are a good match to what I enjoy doing and fundamentally where my expertise lies.
